Flinders Islander Sophie Pitchford did just that! Sophie, Mark and their three Children Thomas, Harry and Poppy live on a small family farm located just north of Emita on the west coast of Flinders Island.
The inspiration of growing organic garlic stemmed from the Wild Elephant Garlic that grows profusely here on Flinders Island. Motivated by the desire to be self-sufficient, Brymworth Farm has evolved into a viable business built up over five years.
Brymworth Farm currently grows Flinders Island Purple Garlic and Spanish Rojo.
