Built in 1911 the Interstate Hotel is one of the many historic buildings in Whitemark, the heritage-style Interstate, as the locals know it, has been in the care of the Aitken family for more than 50 years. Bistro Dinner Monday to Saturday in the totally refurbished lounge, with a restaurant menu designed for all appetites specialising in fresh, local seafood, with local lamb and Wallaby coming soon. Come along and try the famous pub roast on Saturday nights. The rooms upstairs have high ceilings and labyrinthine corridors, typical of a historic building. Relax in the upstairs guest room, complete with tea & coffee making facilities, large book shelf and family photos from days gone day or enjoy a hearty counter meal in the bar, complete with TAB and Sky Channel.
